Knowing that my truck was going in for it's MOT on Thursday (yesterday) I decided on Tuesday night that I really had to do a couple of things to it.
1. I glued the number plate back together.
2. I removed the smashed spotlight.
3. Removed the rear window motor (for a third time) to find out why it was sticking. It took me about an hour to work out that I had put the doorlock release cable behind the motor insted of in front of it the last time I put it back together - hence the sticking window! What an eejit!!!
I'm pleased to say that the truck passed it's MOT with flying colours.
While I'm at it, a word to the wise. If the drive plates/rubber in your rear window motor separate, dont use araldite. I did and it only lasted a week! Use evo-stick. Much more effective. And mind the cables!
