how do i resize my pics to update profile?

may seem a simple thing but my laptop just likes to laugh at me. im not the greatest with these things. any help

You need to open them in a programme such as paint shop pro or similiar.

Once opened go to the tool bar and look for a heading that says image, from the drop down list select resize. You can then set the size you want the image to be and click OK. Once you are happy the size is correct save the file with a new name where you can find it afterwards.
