  • Art and Picture Frames

Um, so I got a bit over-excited on ebay... If anyone is after picture frames or even some old prints/watercolours, let me know and 10% of whatever I get for them will go to the forum.

Bugger. I'm gonna have to ask. Second frame down on the left, the partial tree. That and the faded/sheened one to the right of it. What are those two?

Dunnno what they are, and I can't see photobucket pictures at work so it will remain a mystery until I'm home and sober, so you may be waiting a while, Matt.

Ian, I have at least one that's sort of nautical. It looks like a load of 16th/17th century warships having a bit of a fight. It has an inscription along the bottom about Captain Someone. I'll dig it out and see if I've got any others at the weekend.

If anyone's into miltary stuff, there's a load of loose prints of different uniforms - they look kind of 50s at a guess.

Yes, it was basically a job lot that Arthur Daley had. Got them from a 'furniture dealer' who was clearing out his lock up. 125 quid the lot.

I've got a friend who's an art conservationist. She's coming round at the weekend to see if any of the pictures or frames are any good at all.
