Rear window removal '96 3rd gen-HOW TO

Anyone help with advice/ or a link on how to get rear window out?
Want to tint the glass but was told its easier to remove the window. Took the back panel off but looks a 'mare.... any tips/help most appreciated.Cheers kev

To be honest Kevin, tinting the windows is a 'mare for the ameteur. I tinted the back window on my second gen and it took a long time, and a lot of patience, to get it looking decent.

Can't help with the removal tips, but if you are going to do it yourself wait for a hot, wind free, day! (Should have one sometime in June!)

no idea on glass removal,but def take the glass out to tint it,the thicker the tint the easier it will be,cut to approx 1cm wider all round,make sure glass is very clean,then get an empty spray bottle ala mr muscle,fill with water and 2/3 drops baby shampoo,trick is to do it v wet a squeege the bubbles out
