One of these with a 'pimp my ride' style rear camper with full on velvet seats widescreen tv full bar fridge / microwave / running water etc.. would be my 'impractical' choice..

That white expedition (as opposed to exhibiton lol) cruiser on ebay, being a Jap import. will probably be missing its locking diffs, tut tut.

I'm only just starting prepping mine but the snorkle is nearly finished. Cutting a large hole in the wing was great fun - NOT!

Protoype rear storage is finished though - I'll post some pics tomorow.

The First Land Cruiser is typical of the type used in North Africa, places like Egypt. I really like the basic no frills truck. The truck taking up the rest of the thread is truly beautiful, a nice conversion.

hmm a tough one to answer! i could be swayed between either a Cruiser or a brand new Defender with all the trimmings!

Personally, I can't honestly say that there is anything else which really rocks my boat. Old LC's are nice, but can't say as I'm fond of the newer ones. They always look out of proportion to me.

If I buy anything other than another Surf when this one dies it will be the LC amazon. Plenty of room for my fishing tackle, leather, all mod cons, that'll do me.
