  • New Octavia

I was in getting Giggle's Fabia serviced last week and had a look at the new Octavia Superb. It's a nice car. But the best bit is the Boot/Hatch, now that's clever!

Sorry for being pedantic but was it the Octavia or the Superb ? They're two different cars .......

I always thought the Superb was just a big Octavia, didn't realise they were completely separite models.

          Every day's a school day

Doesn't alter the fact that the boot/tailgate is cool!

dont get it without a gud test drive. I had 1 on hire an wud never buy 1 in a million years. Awful an unstable. Seatin position all wrong an wanders all over road.
How can I be lost when I've got no where to go

Aye? Never driven one, but it does look good. Can't fault Shirley's Fabia though, it's an excellent wee car!

                      It can be either.

I know that they are basically the same as the Audi & VW, but I could never own a Skoda..... it signifies someone who is on a budget and doesn’t care what sort of car they drive so long as it gets them from A to B. I’d much rather buy a second hand quality Audi or VW than that cheap ‘n’ cheerful badge.
Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

That's because you're a head-in-the-sand motoring snob. That said, if you think a £27k car is "cheap 'n' cheerful", maybe you're not?

I don't think it will ever loose that stigma but you have to admit they have come a long way since the clapped out old bangers that we all remember.
If its not broke don't fix it.

Skoda Octavia came second in last years JD power satisfaction survey. Audi A4 came 7th...
