Anyone noticed the price of diesel is creeping upwards again,
at three local garages it's gone up 1p pl on Mon, Wed, Fri. 3p in
less than a week!!! now at £1.009 p ltr. it's just not
fair, with the country now in a recession is it?
If it aint broke, keep goin' till it is.

They start by giving you the feel good factor for a month or so by having it at 95.9, then start putting the price up a penny at a time & think you won't notice.

It will be back at 118.9 before you know it.
If its not broke don't fix it.

We've still got sub $40 oil, so it's not the oil company's that are doing it. I doubt the government would be daft enough to do it either, so it has to be locally driven. Your retailers are profiteering. Diesel is still easily available under 95ppl here.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

I have enough filtered veggi oil to start my own garage, been stock piling it since last October so IF and WHEN the warmer weather gets here it'll be dead cheap to run my surf thru the summer

                Cheers

Trouble is finding someone to supply you with the old stuff, everyone seems to have picked up on it.

I'm pretty lucky, i collect about 120ltrs every month from the old folks homes in my area and i save them the charge for having it taken away.

Only downside is i know exactly when they had fish for lunch and so does the poor sod behind me at the lights

                      Cheers

My first supplier was easy cos its a family member that runs the shop & the second was purely by chance.

I must have gone round dozens of shops but its so hard cos they all have contracts with people & if you try & mussle in on there patch you could end up in a bad way "if you get my drift".

                          Ey up Si,
                          Hangin' OK ?

Yeah, it's the local "total" at Garforth that's £1.009 now, even Tesco
seem to have stoppped the 5ppl off if you spend £50.00 now, will have
a look tomoz and fill her up anyways. Short working week so mileage is
down right now, but it don't help.

                          Gman.

I guess I will just have to start filling two fuel cans up a week instead of one each time I fill up the company car!!!!
