    do you happen to have any pics/sizes of fittings you used on your top heater hose to bleed the coolant system

    This is MattF's pic of one he made, did'nt take any of mine, basicly all ya need is (if your fitting one on the flow & return) two 15mm end feed tee's, short tails of 15mm copper tube, four 15mm olives (solder them on the ends so the heater hose dont blow off, and two 15mm solder drain cocks, i'd use the cocks with the threaded caps on the key ends as when i used the cheapo ones they leaked, i did'nt make the bleed vent as matt did as i fitted these to both heater hoses and use two bottles hooked on the bonnet, 1/4 fill both and start her up and then add coolant to the flow one as air is pushed into the return bottle, keep it going till the stat's opened and when air stops bubbleing in and the levels steady thats it, nip off the drain cocks and remove the pipes and bottles (without spilling the shoit all over the engine)
    forgot!!! finish em off with brasso like matt did

      spot on ian ,ta very much....i have some ready made stainless t pieces...they it the hose, so going to use them..cheers matey
