fantastic photos.
but you are one lucky guy not to have sucked in gallons of water in to your intake. hope that luck extends to the repairs
Mine has the winter pack on it which gives a little extra security. Think I'm due a new air filter now though. It only got a splash on the ol' air filter.
I think it was me being to much of my usual Mercenary self. Which is why I ended up breaking it.
The site is just outside Laxey. It is private land owned by the dad of one of the club members. It's used by the bikes a bit too but mainly by us. Small site really but endless posibilities with many many routes around it. Lots of challenges too. Anyone who is over just give me a shout and I'll see what is on the calender trial or lane run wise. Only problem is that for insurance purposes you have to be a member of the club. Although If I speak to the land oqwner nicely could probably arrange a bit of a mess around outside of the club etc.
The bumper is hanging lower than it is in the pictures. I havn't had time to sort it yet cos I had to dash to work which is where I am now. Gonna find some cable ties before I leave work at 1am! better fix the indicator bulbs back in too (took them out as I expected the bumper to come off and didn't want it ripping the wires out etc).
I will deff keep that in mind and le you know nearer the time if I take it.
Cool. It would be good cos I'm the only one over here in the club really. Mine hasn't behaved on any of the off road trials either so the guys still mock me. At the one point where I had managed to get through a stage without any help there was a crowd watching in amazment then the was a crack as I was going through the last posts! New front diff it looks like!
Ahh well I'll get there. I just want to prove the Surf so I can put on a sticker saying Land Rover Recovery Point!
Not daring to do it yet though.
