The back window went down on its own triggering the alarm. put it back up left the car for a few minutes and it did it again. There is a clicking coming from the rear of the car on the nearside around the rear indicator area, now the window wont go up.
Can anyone help solve this problem? The clicking is definitely not coming from the window motor itself.

How do I access the relay and where can I get one besides the toyota.

you need to pull the large plastic trim from the nearside boot window.Then take out the cubby hole and the relay is bolted to the body bu 2 10mm bolts.I might have another relay here in the garage if your interested.£20 delivered

Definitely interested as it seems mine is knackered How do you want paying?
I hope you meant the whole box (Just plug in)as my electrical and soldering skills are none existant?

Just Normal post will do. It is now working OK. Havent done anything, just went and tried it after a few hours and it seems OK. Its obviously on the blink so a spare will be neccessary I think. You should have payment in a few minutes.

i also have a peculiar rear window fault which has just started, the window goes up and down ok on the key but does not move on the dash switch any ideas? before i start ripping things apart.

i have just supplied my last tailgate window switch to a local guy who had the same problem as you Sora and he found that the switch had actually burnt out.Give supersurf a shout as he will have one i'm sure

take switch out and jump terminals with small piece of wire if it moves its the switch
