If I were you, I'd be tempted to have a crack at them anyway. Bob would probably still take them in exchange once it all goes to hell.

your right theres not a lot to them,but they are a precision instrument.there are ways of shimming them up to get fuelling correct,and crack off pressures,but you need a specific bench tester to do this,one spec of dirt in the nozzle and there buggered.my advice would be to leave well alone unless you really know what you are doing.or have got the correct apparatus for testing them.

most injectors are cleaned with ultrasonics too..not just a case of pulling apart and soaking in de-greaser
