  • Hello all - and Surf wanted!!

    Hello all.

    First post and all that

    About me:
40 year old bald bloke, was into Motorbikes, but have just sold my FireBlade as I now work 12 miles from home so commuting by sportsbike wasn't practical.

Currently looking for a nice 3.0 litre Diesel Automatic Surf, have around £1,700 and a Vauxhall Astra "N"-reg estate to trade for one

I really thought I was after a discovery......but took a TD5 auto for a test drive on Saturday and was surprised by how small inside, how noisy and how gutless it felt.

Looking forward to getting one and becoming an active forum member.

        Welcome Mark
the 1700 on its own should pick you up a decent Surf if you keep your eyes open on ebay. Wait for it, you can get a good one for that price once in a while.

I believe you are inviting me to say that there's one that's definitely not for sale here:

              http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/sh...ad.php?t=51080

Careful though, everyone else isn't intending to buy it either.

              Welcome aboard anyway, bananaman.

I will apologise for the Yeti, so far all attempts to housetrain him have failed dismally

Where is the nice bit of Essex, by the way?

I think I'm from it, but I'd just like to check.
