  • im going to buy some alloys for the surf

after new year, once i get the 2.4 back on the road, and depending on how i feel i want to buy some alloys from america..

i currently have 16" 3rd gen alloys, but my goal is to get some decent deep dish rims, with again all terain tyres (as i like driving all over the place on and off road)
eg. last year we drove around france, and then drove up the side of mont blanc. i want to be able to do things like that still..

should i get 15" or 16"? and what sort of offset?
i want some nice big tyres but nothing thats going to prevent me from using the truck like i normally do.

    im after something like this:

    thanks in advance

Why get em from the states? you'll get hammered for vat and clearance fees,
if you want "deep" dish find some split rim alloys and reverse em, plenty of elbow grease and you'll have something just as good as yank bling,
Too young to die and too old to give a toss

does that not affect how much they stick out of your wing - and also not have an effect on the offset/wheel bearings??? - very intrested

will stick out more,ie the offset, and would highlight any wheel bearings that are going
