  • VERY chilled

    Just finished fitting a beautiful custom made fire in the dining room, after laying a new floor, grate, replastering etc etc. All that remains is to do a bit of filling / fit new skirting board.

    Have just been sitting at our new solid reclaimed oak dining table, in front of said fire, with a glass of damn good Rioja. All that sweat and effort was worth it...

            Guess where all the old skirting is going

            Mark, no, not quite. However, I did put the wiring for the kitchen ring behind where the skirting is going so it will be connected in the next week or so!

                    Looks good (and feels good i bet), were in the process of looking for a replacement fire, i yanked the duff gas one out and now we have a hearth full of candels, looks nice but bugger all heat,
                    Too young to die and too old to give a toss

                      we do some work for a wine company and i have no idea what the different wines are!!

                      i've got over 60 bottles in the cupboard that i just keep giving away!
