  • fitting extended brake lines? Kwik fit???

Had my body lift, winch fitting (and buggering up my lovely Apache bashplate ) etc done by a guy I know and he has just emailed me to say

i cant do the brake pipes as the unions are rusted and i dont want to risk snapping a hard line as i have no way of making new ones.
i think it would be best to get kwik fit or such to fit them.

Which is...great as it all needs to be sorted for the plain on sun.
I guess its safe to drive it home as the problem if when you flex offroad? Is he right and this is something Kwik fit can do? I have the Roughtrax brake lines and have the morning off tomorrow.

    Thanks

            But you're milesssssss away!
I've got to be in London tomorrow afternoon and in eastbourne saturday then down for the games on sunday so cant get to you in time dammit!!!

As to the bashplate asked this guy who mods a certain other brand of 4x4 if he could fit the bashplate, fit the winch through the bashplate of possible etc etc do the body lift blah blah.
            'No problem' he says

I get a pic though and hes fitted the winch chopped the top off the bash plate and fitted it underneath.

            To say I went apesh1t wouldn't begin.

Cant believe anyone would think its ok to do something like that without asking first.
Been looking forward to having the apache look since I got that from you dammit

do now have a winch and a lift tho which is cool
