I have a need for a computer programmer

I'm designing a intellligent lighting system in my house, complete with colour change change LED mood lighting and dimmers etc.

I need to find someone who can design me a simple GUI which can change, via RS232or USB, the output of three channels.

The outputs will control RGB led's so that each channel (RGB) will go from 0 to 100% brightness via a pulsed width modulator by the use of a GUI slider on my desktop with manual overide via a 3 gang wall mounted switch.

    Anyone?

    (Should get people thinking.......)
    I NEED TO OFFROAD!

        Pffft!

For the PWM control, look at RC motor speed controllers (though not brushless types). You dont need to design something to do that as it's there off the shelf. LEDs are low current so the cheapest PWM motor controllers will do what you need. Three channels? Three £20 controllers. Obviously these will be low voltage, so you'll need to supply say 12v input for them, no biggie.

A lot of the tricolour LED lamps now come with a remote to control brightness and colour BTW. They'd probably be cheaper than designing your own, but if you have a reasonable size wallet, step into my office sir...

Another possibility to check is DMX controllers. They may have the computer interface stuff too. (Not overly sure, as I've ne'er given it much, in truth any, attention).
