Don't think you can go wrong with roughtrax.
Just ordered new brakes & bushes today, never had a problem with them in the past.
If its not broke don't fix it.

think you got it all covered Al.The other alternative is to get the filter kit from milners and save a few quid

I've had 3 pattern rad caps on my surf and the proper toyota one fits so much better.

            All the rest seems fine.

              Rear shoes 35.70 inc vat
              Rad cap.......3.18 inc vat

we are not the cheapest either so may pay to shop around?

hope this is of some help.

As Richard says, alternative Filter kits (Milners) £10 = Oil, Air n Fuel Filters.
Recently purchased front Brake pads (including Vat) £14 from Local Motor factors "Allparts" worth shopping round for !!

                There's always a Payback .... Don't expect a warning !!!!

Got the use of a friends lock-up unit on saturday, so tried to get as much as poss done.( couldn't get in 'til 11am)
Engine oil & filter changed. (black and thick like asphalt)
ATF fluid changed ( Brown, but fairly free of 'bits' and doesn't smell burnt)
                          Bump stops all greased up
Front pads changed........ Started with front o/s tried to fit new ext braided hoses. Prroblem!!!!! the 10mm nut that holds the copper lines to the old rubber hoses!!! Both the top and bottom end od the hose had the same problem, when you put enough pressure on the spanner ( they are real tight) it just starts to round the nut off. We tried a 9mm and a few varieties of different shaped spanners and an adjustable, then gave up and decided to get on with the rest of the jobs!

Am i going to have to use something like Mole grips to do this job.
                          Anyone else have a solution!

                          Cheers Alan

Mole grips should work, otherwise try a slightly smaller spanner and use a hammer to bash it on.
