When my truck blew a hose coming back from kent when i brought it the guy was a total legend.

I think my dad slipped him a tenner just before he left.

Also, Flux rescue have been spot on the time my dad used them.

Scimitar broke down in belgium. Flux rescue had a guy come out an check it. Knew it needed a lorry, 30 mins later a lorry turns up.

Drops them off at the Ferry point in france. Lorry waiting the other side of the ferry to bring it back home.

All for £30 for the year....

yep they are a good firm
as far as everyone goes good and bad,u have to remember that no matter who your with theres gonna be times you call and have to wait, and times theres sumone round the corner,as far as diffrent firms go,im with the rac, cause of my discount and free curtesy car etc,but generally if u go csma or greenflag it goes straight to local contractor,so generally quicker response

classic example,a27 last night in shoreham(we are police contractors),3 car pile up caused another 3 car pile up which caused a 2 car pile, all our trucks busy so club work had to wait

I had standard AA cover through TSB bank account.

I got recovered home by AA even though I had no recovery option.

Although an hours journey too 6 1/2

            Breakdown at 1/2 hour

1 hour to get picked up and hauled off the motorway to Pease Pottage
2 hours for van to come,
2 1/2 hours waiting for 2nd recovery truck (free as under 10 mile from home JUST phew )

I've canned the TSB account now, and have cover through Green Flag who are much cheaper - cheers BDT
