I am no longer the proud owner of a Surf
For the past 19 months I have been in Afghanistan and the misses has been in charge of the surf. She didn't bother taking it for a service or doing any basic checks on it and has been driving it with NO OIL!!!
I come home, jump in and scoot off down the M25 at warp factor 5 and unsuprisingly the Surf starts making banging noises, then stops working.
The garage have filled it up with oil and got it started but it no longer wants to go forwards (or indeed backwards). So I am now surfless
Valuable lesson learned, the hard way of course.
