Go for an adjustable panhard rod, not a drop bracket - the forces that you normally find when offroading have a great knack of snapping drop brackets - which is why quite a few of us have taken ours off altogether....
This is with the bracket on - but if you look on the right where the panhard rod meets the bracket, that's where the bracket tends to snap...

Take your points, i dont intend doing any serious off roading tho, hopefully getting the the srtts next year but will be takeing it easy as i really cannot afford to do serious damage, greenlaneing sort of stuff will do me,
I assume that the rod's are not solid, judging buy the photo and if so what is the internal dimension of it, it looks a lot easier to cut and thread the internal pipe and install some threaded rod as adjustment.
