Earlier this afternoon i came home and was on the phone for about 1/2 hour.in that time some tw+t had managed to get out 7ft high gate open and let our 2 northern inuit pups out.I never realised they were gone till i went to get them in and found the gate open.The gate is a solid gate and has 2 slide bolts 1 at the top and 1 half way down.They then had to move a bit of fencing that stops the gate opening.
I had been out for 2 hours searching and really panicing and getting upset.
i rang the council dog warden and then about half hour later i have a call from someone who found them and took them to the police station.The police rang the dog warden who gave them our number and 15 mins later reunited with our little girls.
The couple who found them wouldn't take anything from us for looking after them.
We just had to say thanks to them and bring the pups in but they were so glad that they found the owners.
The 2 pups had managed to stop the traffic and caused a hold up while out on their travels but thank god they never got hurt

i was half expecting to see them lying in the gutter somewhere.
This gate is now going to be taken down and a block wall built up in place of it.
Just lucky there's some good people out there

lucky they are both ok,
its nice to know that there are some nice people out there
and have been returned safely,
all has ended well mate,
lucky someone didnt pinch them and sell them on,
happens quite abit mate with unusual dogs like that,
they must be worth a fair bit,
maybe get a lock for the gate,

the gate could only be open from inside but we never use the gate anyway.
I ever find out who it was then they better watch their backs cause i won't hold back at all.
These pups are a relatively new breed and have only been bred since 1986.
One good thing aswell and thats they have been micro chipped and registered with the northern inuit association so no one could of used them for breeding unlessthey went through the n.i.a
They will also be dna'd registered aswell very soon

Glad someone took them in, our two springers went missing over night a few years back, no sign offf them ever again. Glad their home safe and sound

The pair of them together are a couple of little sods.They know when they have done wrong cause they creep upto us and give that sloppy look as if to say it wasn't me.
They are the best looking dogs i have ever seen and owned and i'm glad now we decided to get another after our other 2 died last year
