I see what you mean. You where there so are the only one who can tell what they meant by that. They could of thought they had done a great job and your truck would be fine.....then again maybe not!

i would phone them and ask if is NEEDS doing as you are happy with it now.
they will say yes as they want the work , so that way you can make it sound like you are helping them.
                  that may work better .
and as a lot of members have said they have had good jobs done and been very happy so please dont let my bad luck stop you .

I apreciate you not wanting to use them again, but if you dont make them do the job right they will probably treat everyone else the same shoddy way, if you are willing to spend time on your truck why not spend that time ensuring they do the job right, after them getting it wrong I think you would be entitled to them showing you it is correctly tracked and the steering wheel is centered.
Acceptance of shoddy work only encorages them to keep working to that standard, if they wont correct it and supply you with a car and possibly pay you for the inconvenience then you have plenty of legal/ trade options open to you....and you know what you are talking about.
In my book there is only one way to do a job.....correctly
Did I mention I have a BLUE one

I feel mine is doing similar since the recall. pulling slightly to the left.
                                It easy to fix DIY?
