  • Well, its gone

    Just sold my 2.4, which was my first Surf and although I now have a new and improved Surf (3.0 ltr) I was very sad to see it go.
    That chap who bought it lives down south near London, so no shortage of expertise in his area.
    He plans on moding it to do a trip through Africa in about 12 to 18 months.

    Ive invited him onto the forum.
    so keep your eyes open and be nice...

          Ive renamed it

          its now officially called Crappy valley as thats what happens when you go throug it. Well, I did anyway.

            Starting by ripping out the unreliable 2.4 I would hope
            Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

              well my 2.4 is still going after nearly 200.000 km, my mates 2.4 landcruiser has done 382.000km so they can't be that unreliable....

                    has anyone got the proper co-ordinates for the valley as im hoping to get down in a couple of weeks if enough of us get together..

                      try it in the wet with a 6 inch lift and 12.5" wide tyres
                      i nearly fell off the side

                        Did you get a good price for it as im thinking off putting mine up for sale. Did you put it on ebay or in paper.

                          Got the map refs at home. Remind me tonight...

                          I'm in Liverpool next weekend, and fitting fireplace / flooring the weekend after, so my fun has been replaced with pain.
