It's official.

Over the last few weeks my surf has been increasingly refered to as the hilux smurf & even I've started calling it that now so it looks like mine now has a name, all I need now are surf like decals that actually say smurf.

Over the last ten years or so all of our cars get named, Katy was my lightweight Land Rover, then there's Becky the recce my current Land Rover, The old ford Orion was bundle of joy, the MK2 escort was effee etc etc etc.

So what's yours called?

Went to pick my sister up from a Club once an her mate was stood with her, I got out an walked over an she said "Is your brother the one with the big car?"

Probably the veg oil it's burning, and the general smell from the junk that gets thrown in it.

Daughter made a stencil up and has sprayed the name on it

Cheers, it took me about 3 months to transform it & get it tested & on the road, luckily I had most of the kit, the hardest part to find was the GPMG mount for the back of the vehicle, the GPMG is a hard rubber film prop machine gun & cost £190 including postage, The Land Rover is currently for sale on milweb.

nah!... it's not a commercial... it's a car!

bugs me when the 7.5t drivers at work call them lorrys... they're just big vans!... they have no vocational qualification to drive it, so it's a van!!

Depends who I'm talking to. To anyone on here, I call it 'the truck', to anyone else, it's 'the car' or 'the surf'
