Helpfull labour saving tips on Surf ownership PT 1

When you take your Surf out of the garage, jack it up and remove all the wheels and leave it on axle stands.....

Make sure you leave enough room behind the car to......
CLOSE THE F***ING GARAGE DOORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

get the Grinder out & remove doors then weld the hinges back up LOL

I never managed to get a garage here, but as everyone says, no hope of getting surf in, especially if you want to use the doors !

Mine goes into a bog standard garage in a communal block but I can only close the garage door if I reverse in. The spare wheel touches the back wall and there is an inch to spare in front of the A-Bar. When I replace my rear springs the spare headroom will reduce from 3" to 1.5"

I can't put spots on the front or on the roof or have a suspension lift. But I get an insurance discount for garaging the truck. (Tight git).

So........do I do the mods and risk getting it nicked because its more attractive to those that might want to nick it? or do I keep putting it in the garage? Oh.the agony!

Do the obvious - get a bigger garage !!!

Of course the ideal solution is to live on the ground floor, and to have french windows - then you could bring the car in and you KNOW it's safe !
