  • I love it when a plan (nearly) comes together!

    Hi,

    i've bitten the bullet.

my 2" body lift from "the stein" and my +2" springs from roughtrax are sat here. and i'm gonna have a bash at fitting them tomorrow with my dad (he's a farmer-boy, so got lots of big bars to persuade the nuts off with!).

once thats done i'm getting me some 33's!!!

only problem was i really wanted some KL71's but no-one in the country seems to have them! though a guy at camskill has suggested the Maxxis buckshot mudzilla instead.

having done no research on these tyres yet, are they any good?

i want something quite hard wearing with goodish road manners (as i'm doin 7000 miles a year), but plenty capeable offroad, and of corse cheap.

    whatdoya think?

I may have said this before but I don't think it's a good move - 7000 tarmac miles a year on MT's is likely to kill them very quickly and the stopping distance will be massive compared to AT's .......

Life is too important to take seriously !
