Got me thinking this did.
Took mothers little Fiat for it's first MOT wednesday, now it's one of these little 1.3 turbo intercooled diesel things, that put out more power than the surf but use half the fuel.
Now it's first test came in at 1.89, and the final average was 1.39, yes the engine was warm and I had thrashed it's nuts off getting it there.
Now my surfs test back in july went through on the first measurement of 0.57
The question is which one pollutes the most, my 15 year old beast the does half the mpg, but over half the emissions. Or my mothers little 3 year old Fiat the does double the mpg but at nearly two and a half times the emissons?
