  • Muds

I'm nearly ready to bite the bullet and go out and buy 33" Muds and whatever rims i need to go with them. I need to know what rim and tyre size i need so that i can enquire about prices.
Does anyone have any suggestions for places to try? I've got a Kumho catalogue, but am unsure which sizes i'll need. I understand that once my LC Springs are fitted along with the 2" bodylift, i'll be able to chuck something straight on without the need for more mods? Balljoint spacers?
Does £450 cover 4 wheels and tyres? When talking to Granham (gwh) i think he said about a ton per wheel/tyre? What are others running?

    Cheers.

      Hello mate
I'm going to be going for a set of 5x 33' Kumho KL71's soon maybe with wheels but not sure yet. Might be worth us buying together form the same place and see if we can get a discount

you can fit 33's straight on with the 5" lift your having. There are some good deals out there so it will pay to shop about before spending tyour money

Indeed Mr Bio. By the way, i think i noticed you were suffering the same saggy arsed Surf symtons as me when we met at the FWDC laning in Surrey?
Just wondering how you think we'll cope on saturday's FWDC Hampshire event as it's supposed to be challenging?

Was it you asking about tyres and body/sus lift the other day???

I get confused with all the painkillers.....

With the lift, you shouldn't have too much of an issue with the tyres rubbing, but you'll need 8 or 10 inch rims, and the tyre size is 33 x 12.50 x 15

For a set of 10" x 15" steel rims, and some reasonable 33 x 12.50 x 15 Muds you would be looking at something in the region of £400 - £600 delivered.

You may want to look at the tyres thread, or use the search, as this is a subject that comes up a lot!
