i kinda clipped a lamppost last week with my front bumper and put a nice big scuff on it. never mind though, its a big thing afterall so it doesn't matter.
thanks for the responses (the uselful ones anyway!), and as it is to be for onroad only for 3 weeks (and therefore at most 200 miles), i'm gonna go for it.
just need to figure out how to fit the sus lift stuff now! and order the bodylift too!
there again, if i can get the bodylift by next weekend, and some clue as to how to fit it, i can do it all in one go.
In which case there was no need for this thread in the first place!!
MartJust trying to raise my postcount!

It wont be nice but it might be better then getting shafted for having illegal tyres or having to fork out twice for a set.
8" wide rims will help no end in getting them on with only 2" of lift. If you run a set of 10" wide rims they will just smash into everything.
So, Your ok! Get them, fit them an get a 2" body lift on ASAP!!! It takes a few hours with basic tools an know how. Im sure a few lads on here would be up for going along an helping out.

With his current 2" lift he can run them.. not very well but he can!!
When he gets his body lift on aswell then it will be fine!

Its now something i cherish an to be honest, I used to feel bad about having a big truck that only now an then gets any mud on it an has an owner that would kill anyone damaging it ..
But i just think f**k it!! I love it,
