Im too precious about it. If i break anything or dent anything i'd be pi$$ed off.
ah thats where we differ. my truck is my workhorse, and will be treated like one!!
i kinda clipped a lamppost last week with my front bumper and put a nice big scuff on it. never mind though, its a big thing afterall so it doesn't matter.
thanks for the responses (the uselful ones anyway!), and as it is to be for onroad only for 3 weeks (and therefore at most 200 miles), i'm gonna go for it.
just need to figure out how to fit the sus lift stuff now! and order the bodylift too!
there again, if i can get the bodylift by next weekend, and some clue as to how to fit it, i can do it all in one go.
In which case there was no need for this thread in the first place!!
oh yeah, i think my wheels will cope. they're aftermarket split rim alloys, and seem to measure about 9" from edge to edge, so i guess they're 8" ones, so should cope with the tyres ok.
Sorry to hijack the thread, mine from what I've been told has a 2 inch lift at the rear, I want to level it up & wondered how I adjust the tortion bars?

If you ever want to take a day out a come down then i am willing to show/help you out if you want. Also you can have a gander at a couple of these tyres i got here if they will be any good for what you need
An they will rub on everything like a horny man in a club packed with girls!!
It wont be nice but it might be better then getting shafted for having illegal tyres or having to fork out twice for a set.
8" wide rims will help no end in getting them on with only 2" of lift. If you run a set of 10" wide rims they will just smash into everything.
So, Your ok! Get them, fit them an get a 2" body lift on ASAP!!! It takes a few hours with basic tools an know how. Im sure a few lads on here would be up for going along an helping out.
Yeh but the guys got a susp lift getting done to, mind u i think mine is a 3" susp lift and 1.5" Body

I never had intentions to get so involved with my truck.
But i did an ive got thousands of pounds of receipts of stuff i've done.
Its now something i cherish an to be honest, I used to feel bad about having a big truck that only now an then gets any mud on it an has an owner that would kill anyone damaging it ..

Thanks Richard, Sounds great to me but it wont be this month I'm afraid, got a weekend away then the weekend after I'm hoping to be green laning, I'm definately interested in a couple of tyres, hopefully I will have sold my Honda & Land Rover by then too so will have plenty of cash on the hip just in case you have any other goodies for my surf.
