  • Swb??

Has any one taken a 2 door 2.4 and shortened it to a swb?

Also is it possable to fit a 3l in a 2.4 body?

    Thanks

it is possible to put a 3.0l into a 2.4 body but you'll need the complete wiring loom and everything to do it

All the ancillaries, ECU, new engine mount positions........

          Easier to buy a 3.0.

Why two door? Were you planning to shorten it by cutting middle out??

              have a 2 door

also thought it would be easier to shorten down

Frame is pretty much the same so follow the advice - buy a cheap 3 ltr and bob tail it

A lot easier than messing with wiring looms etc

Just lob Stein some money and your truck.....................

For the small increase in power its pointless doing a 3.0ltr install.

Cost benefit analysis ( ) just screams "WASTE"

Plus a 4 door surf could probably be hacked around more. Your dealing with the back end that could lose several inches. You do anything to a 2 door surf and the rear window will be all over the place.
