    Well the head and me are back home, it was ulmost out by the time i got there, thankfuly, when i left Derby this morning it was raining to say the least and it rained all the way up to Preston, yet in Blackpool if was dry and sunny, Thank you !!!

    A big thanks to Paul for the head and the coffee, all i have to do now is put it all back together, when i get the rest of the bits, that is.
    1 Full head gasket set
    2 Head bolts
    3 Thermostat
    4 Radiator cap
    5 Belt set
    6 Filters
    7 Radiator
    8 Oil
    9 Anit freeze
    I think that shoud cover it.

      Well the old head is definately no more:



      But the new one is in and i've started with all the fiddly stuff, proof marking all the bolts that have been torqued up, nuw nuts and bolts fitted where posible and she is starting to live again, just waiting on the new radiator and timing cover gasket, what do you think so far.






      I'm sad to say that i am actually having fun doing this.

        well if I buy a 3ltr bargain with a knackered head I know where to go to get it fixed.....
