I bought a couple of new tyres for my truck back in june and since then she has been handling like a sack of spuds.
I spent a small fortune trying to sort the problem out. Then last weekend I was putting my new discs on and found that the ###### garage had given me two odd tyres. One was an inch smaller than the other. As soon as I changed the tyre ,she runs sweet as a nut!!!

Now how to approach the garage! any ideas?

I know they bare going to be difficult about it even though i have the receipt.

Could this have caused any long term damage to the gearing /driveshaft.
I know this wouldnt be a problem if the wheels were able to free wheel, but when driving ,it felt like the wheel was jumping .

Go in and ask them if it would be a problem running different sizes on the same axle, spin em a tale. When they say 'oh no sir, you can't do that, it'll #### your diff.' invite them to have a look at what they sold you... Have fun

Booked Hippo in for service & MOT

They forgot the MOT so when I had to take it elsewhere they said it would pass no problem - yeah right no problem once a new steering idler was fitted
