    1.You're not giving anything up.
You're escaping from an addiction the fags control you.

2.Admit you loved somking, then accept they will kill you, then choose to
    stop.

    3. If you haven't the will power then, you never will so don't slag junkie
waste of space scum bags again. (they canny help it they are victims you
    know) fuc off.

Hope you manage it mate and don't listen to the 'O' I've been off 10yrs and still think about them pish. I'm 4 years free of them 30 to 40 a day and never think about them now.

The main thing about giving up smoking is that you really must want to give up. I smoked for about 20 years, 17 of them whilst working for a tobacco company and getting half my fix for free. I tried giving up on any number of occasions but always went back to it.

What finally convinced me was getting a very bad chest and throat infection that put me in bed for three days without any chance of being able to smoke. After that I thought, what the hell, I did it for three days, lets see how long I can go now (20 years and counting) but the after effects are still there with reduced fitness and lung capacity even now.

Stick to it Ian. It will seem hard but patches, doctors help, etc should see you win the battle.
