    Sorry havn't opted out just not gotten around to sending my renewed subscription yet, must do it!!

    Tony has giving up 4x4's as well as life due to ilness I am afraid,
    You are welcome to look at mine, I will orginise pictures in a few weeks as I need to get ready for the MOT!
    Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)

      I looked at the dimensions for the X9 as well as the WARN Tabor range. Both are a similar size. I measured up the front of me truck and the main issue seems to be the cross member that runs across the front of the rads. It's angled and would push the winch forwards.

      It would be good to see how far forward yours is and how much bumper needed to be cut away.

            I know I know,

            bit busy at the mo, I have resigned suddenly from work and they are paniking a bit and by diary has become rather full!

            I will get it done, if not before the 14th then the following week I am taking the winch out to service it!

                    Wondering why you didn't walk dodgy looking ground before driving into it, like wot yer supposed to do. It looks soft to me even on the photo.

                    Winch - complex, expensive, hardly ever used unless you're into winching for fun, add lots of weight to the front, blocks cooling air yadda yadda yadda...

                      I should have done really but we had been driving round the field all night with no probs, the reason it looks so boggy is because we had been walking round the surf for about an hour trying to figure out the best way to get it out.

                      Hay ho, lesson learn't.
