Off to Leuchars

In the morning, I'm off to Leuchars for the weekend. Got B&B half a mile from the airfield; how handy is that? Was supposed to go today, but something came up. Be back on Sunday.

Not taking the Surf, it won't make it. Can only manage about 10 miles before it overheats!

The Vulcan didn't fly. It only has clearance for visible flight (can't remember exactly what they called it) and isn't allowed to fly using its instruments and as the weather was crap, next to nothing got off the ground. Gutted! It did do a couple of 'fast' taxi runs with its front wheel up, only got the 'whine' for a second or so! I saw it fly back in the early 90's, it's a truly unique thing. If you can get to Leuchars at first light tomorrow (Monday) you'll see it in the air.
