Looking at the chain, I don't think it's had a lot of looking after.

Thats replaceable ........it's Rowan will kill his mountain bike if he keeps doing the track

I meant the whole shooting match.

If they can't be bothered to keep the chain lubed, I doubt they've been taking the crank to bits and greasing the bearings.

The mountain bike should be able to take a few ten year old sized jumps for now.
