    Video editing software. should be able to import from camcorder, edit then save in various formats.

              i still have no idea what on earth you are all talking about,suffice to say i think by the sounds of it, rather than saving files etc etc, it would be quicker to do an oil painting and put it in a drawer

                        By the looks of it, any AV processing software should be able to work with those files. It originated back in the Amiga era:

                            The software they'll supply with the unit will be a bog standard piece of AV software. (Usually a partially crippled version of the full product). Someone offered to forward you a copy of their AV suite, didn't they, earlier in the thread? Pop that on, and you shouldn't have any probs.
