Stereo fitting?????

Went into a proper stereo shop today who supplied me with a single din pocket, and a wiring harness to plug my stereo straight in(hopefully).
Just keping my fingers crossed that it will be that simple!!!

I wired up my old radio to the surfs wiring with lots of help from the install doctor:

i have 2 pockets!! hehehe!! one for fags and one for chips!
the fags one has a little door so you don't loose your lighter off road!

just joind the forum and,
just got a surf 2.4 ssrx,1992 k plate
need to change the sterio as the cd keeps ejecting discs it just not read them
i have tried a cleaner but does the same thing
anybody got an idea how to sort it out or some advise on removal and fit a single one like you guys have done.

I'm not electrically or machanically minded so will have to get somebody els to do it for me
PLEASE HELP ME GUYS.

i do like halkewl's and da SLUG man's both look the dogs b***ks
just need to find where to get and what the parts are call'd as i'm a bit thick when it comes to things like this
and of course a verry good friend to do the buisness

Kenwood do a very nice double din with sat nav, dvd & tv tuner options. I'm saving now cos it aint cheap! Now wot can I sell on e-bay.................

If you need a fascia adapter(pocket type) I got mine from http://www.incarexpress.co.uk. Part no Autoleads FP1101 £24.00 plus delivery. I used the installdoc link mentioned further up the page. If I can do it anyone can!
