  • Shocks

I really need to fit longer shocks as they fully extend over every speed bump since lifting the suspension, its actually comfier in my 106 than in the Surf!
I rather like the hard/soft option and would like to keep it really, so has anyone tried fitting brackets to drop the shocks down? I know upwards travel would be affected but I can live with that, its the extra downwards travel i am interested in.
I know the Suzuki boys do it on the vit's, so why not on the Surf?
Any reason why it cant be done?

The actuator on the top of shocks for the hard/soft option would be very difficult to relocate as it sits bolted onto shock at top above top mount.

It may be worth fitting something like Pro Comp ES 3000's, they have a neutral setting but you would lose the hard/soft setting.

Either that or you need to swap the springs for a standard length spring.
