Tyres

I need to replace a tyre on the truck but only one needs doing. Were ever i go people give me different advise. One bloke said you need to run 2 tyres together and another said you only need 1 so what do you lot reckon because i don't want to bugger the truck up over some wrong advise.

personally, unless the remaining tyre is quite low on tread then just replacing with like for like should be OK.
I wouldnt run a mix n match tyres of different tread patterns, always stick to the same.
Whats your spare, cant you use that then only get one tyre to be replaced. If the spare is no good then go for two new tyres and the one still on the veh can then be used as a spare

The tyre on the back is smaller and just there to get me to a garage. The other front tyre is def lower tread than the new one ive just had put on. And what does it do if they are both different, im not sure what actually happens or what damage it causes.
