im getting pshed off with ebay. ive put a few things on there, and people keep buying them and not paying me. they refuse to answer my messages, or emails.. whats going on?

i cant report them for a week as its egays policy. so im having to relist, incurring charges until next week when i can then report non payment. all i want is a quick sale, and some ####s are turning it into a mission.
also, i put something on there that is perfectly legal, and you can buy from a shop but ebay removed it and gave me a warning.

and now someone has just told me about paypalsucks.com im wondering if by trying to pass on stuff other than throw it away am i just giving myself hastle???
    Oh Nana, what's my name?

I think ebay have noticed that they make mega bucks out of this type of activity. I think it is done by ebay employees. You do get your money back but they make on it for a few weeks.

Its happened to my last 4 sales.

There is definitely a gap in the market for a small, honest version of ebay - just like it used to be years ago.

some-where in your seller preferances account, buyer requirments, you can ajust what sort of biders you whant, such as biders must have paypal, high feed back ect, then when any crap bidders try and place a bid they just get bloked

Well Tony, reading your message, and then reading the replies, it looks like ebay is broken beyond repair, and will eventually die. If every seller takes the advice given the whole thing is on its last legs as there will never be any new members, at least not unless ebay give you a joining bonus of 10 free positive feedbacks.

And Davemaxx , are you an ebay member ? were you once a crap bidder who then suddenly became a good guy when you completed 10 purchases ? Have you thought how ridiculous that sounds ?

I have some sympathy with you at the moment, I'm selling my Surf on fleabay at the moment, it has 30 odds minutes to run, the highest bidder has zero feedback, and won't respond to my messages for a contact number, a foreign gentleman has rung numerous times and started by saying 'sh1t truck aint it?' to which I replied ' don't buy it then' and he then started saying things about what he'll do to my wife etc!!! I'm only trying to sell a truck!! Oh to get hold of him

I really should have put it on here, I'm tempted to just cancel all bids and do that. I'm only after about £350.00 hardly expensive? Heres the link if anyone interested, and I don't want to circumvent the rules regarding payment for items for sale, so if anyone wants it on here, I'll donate requisite amount to the forum.

                Thanks
                If you play with fire.....

Sorry to hear that mate, There are some total a$$holes around. When i sold a guitar all i got was "you steal my advert, make family sad, click link to see advert i post for item, may they have mercy on yor soul you theft"

That kinda cr*p!! When i sold my first surf i got inundated with phone calls "hey, your selling the toyota right?!"
then after a 30 seconds of talking about it you get the "Ive got a client"

                  F*CK OFF!!!

I think Ebay just makes things easier for them but other then that...

                  Its bl**dy brilliant!

                      their feedback's unfair...
i had 100% but some dude decided they didn;t want the Wii i was selling and left bad feedback... Ebay changed the way feedback's calculated and so now i only have about 76%!!

thats why in my adds i ask for contact details if under 10 feedback or 90%,a gen bidder wont have any worries giving thier details

you can't go through all that if you're selling a cheap item though... you end up costing more than it's worth.

i'd never sell anything again... people just take the pi$$.

                              'blocked then'

yes i am an ebay member, and the hard truth is 'yes mate' but more like 25. but i do sympathise with the problem thoguh, i simply made my suggestion to deiselboy to what he could do by creating some restrictions so he could sell his item without getting messed about. i've made lots of purchases and sold several vehicles, but i had no choise to restrict some people from bidding because it is they who are rediculous and have rediculous ideas. some won't even read your advert properly or understand what theyv'e read. they also get into a bidding frenzy and then back out or dissapeare from paying up when theyv'e won.

i think lots of ebay users regard low or poor feedback buyers and sellers as being a suspect area, that is why they get points , star ratings and a feedback count.

for example would you buy a rolex watch worth £7,000 for £2,000 from a seller on a different continent with a feedback score of 100% but only ever bought a pencil for 25p and has no other history of sales or purchases........

                              yes if your mad!
