Poor little chap, all sweaty and red faced. We think he was missing his bed too, 'cos he's been sleeping most of the time we've been home.

It not bad TBH anyway, wouldn't expect much more out of a 2.4 in the same conditions.

Should get into the low to mid twenties as soon as my right boot visits weight watchers.

With your annual mileage that boot has to be seriously into whale territory to make much of a difference

I seem to be doing more miles recently, I don't know why!

                          95% yes.
I need a new coolant temp sender, the one on the engine is fubarred and the gauge needle flicks up to the red as soon as I fire it up. There's two senders, one for the gauge and another for the EFI. The EFI one I know is working but the other one is telling the engine that it's cold all the time, which is telling the ISCV to increase the idle speed, which is telling the fuel pressure regulator to shovel in more fuel which is why when I had the MOT re-test done, the smog reading was high and I'm only getting 19mpg!

The 2.4 rad is coping well, plus I fitted an adjustable temp switch for the electric fan, it kicks in @85degrees, of @95 with a ultra bright blue LED on the dash to tell me when it's on/off.
