  • Hi from John O' Groats

(click on pic for big view)

1400 miles on the tripmeter since we left home last Friday!

Scotland is great, if wet, been some lovely driving roads, especially up north, no traffic.

No sign of Nessie yet, but the dogs are shagged out from all the walking, running and swimming.

It was a bit - lots of folks finishing Lands End to John o'Groats runs on bikes!! Still far less busy than Lands End!

We've been lucky with the weather - few showers, but mostly teeshirts and shorts weather!

I've been there, cracking beaches, and a lighthouse you can visit.

Isn't Rockall the most westerly point in the UK - and St Kilda (Hirta) the most westerly inhabited point ?

(I spent two weeks commissioning computer systems on St Kilda back in 1983)
