Gear Box

Anyone point me in the right direction...My 2.4 manual surf is getting really hard to put in gear. Sometimes it's only reverse that won't go in then today I struggled to get first gear or any I had to switch the truck off and select 1st then turn it back on. After 15 mins driving all the gears worked ok. I park on a very steep slope and don't use the truck much during the week so it may sit still for 5 days I also park facing down hill with the front. Could this cause an issue or is the clutch on the way out?

? is there a gear box oil dip stick??

try bleeding the clutch slave cylinder its quite possible that you have air in the system and its not fully depressing the lever.(does the clutch feel like its slipping,loss of power.does it make a noise when you depress the clutch pedal..)oil level plug on g/box,undo and you should be able to put your finger in there to check the oil level. the oil should be level or just below the plug.

not half as bad is trying to find the wifes volume switch....she wasnt amused,but apart from everything all is ok !!
