The house is nice too, but the mortgage is horrible. Plus there is absolutely no storage space in the house except one understairs cupboard, where you are supposed to put everything these days I don't know.
How's the motor doing now, any nearer to completion.

So you've removed the rear tyre carrier and slung the spare underneath? How have you got the central number plate complete with night lights, tell more....

Got the numberplate carrier off eBay, paid £4 plus £3.50 postage for it. It just clips in to replace the old plate that the lock fitted in.
Rewiring for the new lock position is the most difficult and fitting the existing lock into the new hole is a bit fiddly.
Ended up using some Epoxy body filler to hold it in place and a trim that should have been fitted round the headrest holes on my seatcovers but I never fitted cos they didn't fit. The trim just slips round the protruding part of the lock and is loctited in place.
Also had to extend the cables from the old number plate lamps to the new position in the center.
