  • Just an observation ........

    Guys & Gals,

I don't want to kick off the colour war again but it seems to me that a significant percentage of the membership have expressed their colour preference by chosing an alternative to the default (i.e. sub-standard) blue star ......

The colour of choice would appear to be

    SILVER !

OK, I'll admit it - I'm just bragging cos I've finally got some dosh in my PayPal account and renewed my subs !

I would love to have a burgundy star, but then I'd get mistaken for an admi. Just proves though that burgundy seems to be more important.

I didn't flash the cash - didn't even expct to get it. Sent extra becausue Jotto saved my life with the gearbox, and if it wasn't for this site it would have cost me a dam sight more than it did. So I sent as much as I could spare at the time.
How can I be lost when I've got no where to go

Mines platinum. I know is hard to tell the difference from the normal silver stars, but if you tap the screen, it definitely sounds like platinum.

p.s. Admins can't afford burgundy trucks!

I only made SSgt in my 22 years - the only time I got in the Officers Mess was when they wanted a waiter !

Just remembered that we used to get invited over at Christmas AND the officers paid for the booze !

Went to the Corps Mess one year and some of us got into a bit of trouble - we managed to get a piano to the front door before they caught us ........
