In 1990 I bought a Ford Transit motor home I took it to bits and rebuilt the wooden frame. We loved it the motor home took us everywhere and was the team bus for the village brownies and net ball team that Mrs h ran.
I came up to the West and met the lochaber winter weather which destroyed the weather seals and the chassis. I couldn't part with it for 9 years.
It sat beside the house covered over in plastic till last month when I thought sod this and scrapped her.
Now I don't think there's any point in keeping stuff for sentimental reasons. I don't worry about deperciation either.
