does anyone know wether the v6 front drive shafts are the same as the 2.4,i.e spline wise,sounds like i have a bronze bush problem with the v6 and bio has a complete front hub with new bushes and bearings just wondered if it will all swop over ok.dont want to start stripping it down to find it wont fit.cheers in advance.

At a guess I would say yes. Milners or Roughtrax don't list anything different for the V6, so the running gear must be the same.

I seem to remember the v6 being a bit longer as i tried to rob it once. but must admit i was in a rush so could be wrong

(SUBS) 43430-35012 = substitute part number, normally means the original part has been superceded by this one, either because of a fault or a change in design, toyota may well no longer be able to get the original part, and you'll have to use the substitute part number to order it by.

- same one for the LH side too!

Anything from 4/89 to 8/97 should be the same for the drive shafts and steering knuckle. There was a change in outer CV to steering knuckle seals at some stage and if these need to be changed then you have to get both (expensive) seals for the shaft and steering knuckle. Check the seals and make sure they match. The 1/90 seems to be when the seals were changed. If both vehicles were manufactured after this they should be the same.

well i know one thing,it gets worse when you turn a left hand corner,and if you grab the drive shaft you can rattle it around in the hub,its making a horendous noise.you working all week????
