its question time about CB Radios, i see from alot of the pics posted on here that you all have CB's on your surfs do you use license free short-range radio system or do you have the long ranged licensed one and what makes and models do you have the only ones that i know of are cobra and the last time i used a CB rig was '93 so what changed?

CB is now license free, most of us just use 40 or 80 ch rigs, i use a danita 3000, but the performance on it ain't great. Have a browse round the communication eleven and thunderpole websites to give you an idea of what's about and what prices.

got one in my truck, can't remember what make it is. good for laning and days out. Bit of banter and a shout for help when you get stuck.

Umm i am a member of other car forums (mr2 sites) and they have a special section for premium members only where the club can get discount for items be it catskill insurance etc (get 10% off my car insurances cause of it)

Yeah I even got 15% of my surf insurance for being a member here madness...

It is good tho a lot of companies give discounts for being a part of a club but I guess they get free advertising and the club members get discount so everyone is a winner.....
