  • SSR-X & SSR-V What's the difference

    Hi all,

I'm new to the site and new to Surfs too.

I'm looking at 2 vehicles, both '95, both roughly the same milage.
One is an SSR-X the other an SSR-V.

Can someone explane the difference please.

    Thanks.

there isn't any real differance, as alot of the extras were customer choice

To add to what Sledge said, in theory the SSR-X is the higher spec model, but that's not to say the SSR-V hasn't got basically the same toys on it.

One has an X on the back, the other one doesn't - and that isn't nearly as flippant an answer as it sounds.....

When the cars where brought out, Toyota did have different trim levels, SSR, SSR-V, SSR-X, SSR-G and Limited I think - the initial idea was they all had different trim levels - as the owners spec'd them from the factory, the trim and equipment levels were added to, so I don't think there is a single one on this forum that is standard to the spec that Toyota had in mind when they priced and built the car.....

LOL, I see what you mean.

I'll go and look at them both then go from there.

          Thanks for the info,
          Didg.
